Official website
Industrialist connecting the Gulf and Libya since 2008
Trained as an industrial engineer in Benghazi, Ahmed Gadalla built his business on trade between North Africa and the Gulf, then kept building through difficult years, in steel, cement and food production.
Who he is
He lives in Toronto, Canada, while the UAE remains his business base in the Gulf.
This is the official website of Ahmed Gadalla, also known as Ahmed Alushibe, a Libyan industrial engineer whose career grew out of trade between North Africa and the Gulf. He began with a small automotive-parts shop in Benghazi, moved into distribution and logistics, and on 21 December 2008 founded Al Mored Oasis General Trading LLC in the UAE. That same year also saw the start of Alushibe Holding Group.

Areas of work
The companies he founded, chairs or holds shares in cover a small number of sectors, each tied to basic needs in Libya.
Chairman of Libya United Steel Company and of the Tosyali-SULB partnership, a direct reduced iron complex in Benghazi.
Chairman of Libyan Cement Company, where the second production line at Hawari is being restored after 13 years out of service.
Zulfa Food Industries, a new factory moving from construction to systems and production readiness in 2026.
From a single automotive-parts shop in Benghazi to Al Mored Oasis General Trading LLC, founded in the UAE in December 2008.
Procurement and supply-chain work linking suppliers in the Gulf with buyers in North Africa.
Shares in Commercial and Development Bank from 2005 and in Berniq Airways from 2010.

Local industry creates work close to home. That conviction runs through the steel, cement and food projects he leads in Libya.
The motto he works by
The words describe a choice rather than a slogan.

Perspectives
Essays in his own voice on trade, industry and learning. All three are drafts awaiting his approval.

From a small auto-parts shop in Benghazi to founding a trading company in the UAE in 2008: what years of moving goods between the Gulf and Libya teach about trust, logistics and staying the course.

Why a country that makes its own steel, cement and food is harder to shake, and why building factories in Libya is about jobs, skills and resilience as much as output.

A strategy diploma in 2021–22, Chartered Management Institute membership, an MBA in 2025 and now doctoral-level study: why formal learning still matters after years in business.
